List of Catholic Patron Saints

  • Mary, Our Blessed Mother – Invoke her for anything and everything. She is the most powerful of all God’s Saints, higher than even St. Michael the Archangel. She will help you attain perfection and union with Christ, her divine son.
  • St. Joseph – The Patron Saint of carpenters, because he was said to be one in Holy Scripture. For the same reason, he can be considered a Patron Saint for business and financial affairs. He is an extremely powerful Saint (after Our Blessed Lady), as St. John Fischer (Martyr) testifies in his meditation on Wednesday.
  • Your Guardian Angel – Always invoke him. He will protect and help you during this turbulent life against any temptation.
  • St. Michael the Archangel – The Patron Saint for police officers, who bring criminals to justice. St. Michael and the holy angels defeated the devil and his angels (Apoc. xii).
  • St. Raphael the Archangel – The Patron Saint for healing, both physical and spiritual. Once, Tobias became blind for a time (Tob. ii), and Raphael consoled and encouraged him during this time of trial: “And because thou wast acceptable to God, it was necessary that temptation should prove thee” (Tob. xii. 13). The holy archangel also helped Tobias when Sarah was afflicted by a devil. Maybe you should invoke him for fishing, as he helped Tobias catch a big fish.
  • St. Gabriel the Archangel – His name means “Strength of God”. He appeared to Daniel during the captivity (Dan. ix.), to St. Zachary in the second Temple (Lk. i.), to the Blessed Virgin Mary (Lk. i), and to Jesus Christ himself in the garden of Gethsemane during the night of the agony.
